Two fellow watchdoggers and very active community members need your support on Tuesday. Phil Rosar is running for Mayor and Alan Williams is running for Ward 5 Council member. Both were pillars of support in stopping the proposed $60 million dollar community center. Now it is time for all of us to pay back their hard work with a simple vote. Please go out on Tuesday and cast your vote for Phil Rosar and Alan Williams.

Howe VS Community Center
Everyone in Coon Rapids needs to understand that this November is our Community Center referendum!
Some of you might have read about the “Summer in the City” events. At the 1st event Tim Howe has already started in with the community center talk again, stating that the new ice arena is the 1st phase of a community center project.
Tim Howe will tax us out of our homes in order to get this community center built. The only thing Tim Howe cares about is spending your money. I believe everyone should attend these neighborhood meetings “booing and hissing” this guy. Isn’t a clear sign of what he thinks is important when the only things he wants to talk about are the extremely expensive city projects that he has undertaken.
How about we go to these meetings and talk frankly about how great Tim Howe is at spending your money. Let’s talk about how many lives Tim Howe has ruined with his increased taxes. Let’s talk about how many people foreclosed on their homes in Coon Rapids since Tim Howe has been in office. Let’s talk about the city staff members that lost their jobs due to the increase spending by Tim Howe. Isn’t it a shame when the city needs to fire employees because it’s own Mayor has no fiscal responsibility.
It’s time to FIRE Tim Howe. Come November your vote needs to be NO to Howe! No to a community center! And yes to fiscal responsibility.
